Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 1.92%.
The best performers of the session on the were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:), which rose 3.94% or 28.60 points to trade at 755.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:) added 2.44% or 18.50 points to end at 775.80 and Pandora A/S (CSE:) was up 2.42% or 27.50 points to 1,164.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Oersted AS (CSE:), which fell 2.65% or 10.40 points to trade at 381.40 at the close. NKT Holding (CSE:) declined 0.83% or 4.50 points to end at 540.00 and Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:) was down 0.41% or 3.00 points to 727.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 65 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.03% or 0.02 to $68.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.03% or 0.02 to hit $71.82 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.63% or 16.99 to trade at $2,664.01 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.89% to 7.11, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.60% at 106.46.
