Investing.com – Germany stocks were mixed after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Frankfurt, the declined 0.15% to hit a new all time high, while the index fell 0.75%, and the index gained 0.22%.
The best performers of the session on the were Mercedes Benz Group AG (ETR:), which rose 3.24% or 1.74 points to trade at 55.52 at the close. Meanwhile, Dr Ing hc F Porsche AG Preferred (ETR:) added 2.90% or 1.72 points to end at 61.10 and BASF SE NA O.N. (ETR:) was up 2.66% or 1.17 points to 45.13 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Rheinmetall AG (ETR:), which fell 5.95% or 38.80 points to trade at 613.00 at the close. Vonovia SE (ETR:) declined 3.47% or 1.10 points to end at 30.57 and Deutsche Telekom AG Na (ETR:) was down 2.12% or 0.65 points to 29.95.
The top performers on the MDAX were Siltronic AG (ETR:) which rose 5.85% to 52.25, Wacker Chemie O.N. (ETR:) which was up 3.68% to settle at 75.56 and Carl Zeiss Meditec AG (ETR:) which gained 3.44% to close at 60.10.
The worst performers were HelloFresh SE (ETR:) which was down 9.79% to 11.84 in late trade, Hensoldt Ag (ETR:) which lost 8.43% to settle at 34.54 and CTS Eventim AG (ETR:) which was down 4.65% to 83.00 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were CompuGroup Medical AG O.N. (ETR:) which rose 31.43% to 21.66, Siltronic AG (ETR:) which was up 5.85% to settle at 52.25 and Energiekontor AG (ETR:) which gained 4.84% to close at 47.65.
The worst performers were Hensoldt Ag (ETR:) which was down 8.43% to 34.54 in late trade, Freenet AG NA (ETR:) which lost 3.16% to settle at 28.76 and Deutsche Telekom AG Na (ETR:) which was down 2.12% to 29.95 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 352 to 289 and 28 ended unchanged.
The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was down 2.34% to 13.29 a new 3-months low.
Gold Futures for February delivery was up 1.13% or 29.96 to $2,689.56 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January rose 1.90% or 1.28 to hit $68.48 a barrel, while the February Brent oil contract rose 1.67% or 1.19 to trade at $72.31 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.01% to 1.06, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.24% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 105.67.
