Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The best performers of the session on the were Peker Gayrimenkul Yatirim Ortakligi AS (IS:), which rose 10.00% or 0.14 points to trade at 1.54 at the close. Meanwhile, Katilimevim Tasarruf Finansman AS (IS:) added 5.32% or 3.20 points to end at 63.40 and Akfen Yenilenebilir Enerji AS (IS:) was up 4.98% or 0.94 points to 19.83 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Koza Anadolu Metal Madencilik Isletmeleri AS (IS:), which fell 4.40% or 3.20 points to trade at 69.60 at the close. Cw Enerji Muhendislik Ticaret ve Sanayi AS (IS:) declined 4.12% or 1.00 points to end at 23.26 and Agrotech Yuksek Teknoloji ve Yatirim AS (IS:) was down 3.48% or 0.45 points to 12.47.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 340 to 215 and 24 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for February delivery was down 1.86% or 51.36 to $2,705.34 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January fell 1.35% or 0.95 to hit $69.34 a barrel, while the February Brent oil contract fell 1.13% or 0.83 to trade at $72.69 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.05% to 34.87, while EUR/TRY rose 0.06% to 36.63.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 106.58.
