Investing.com – Spain stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The best performers of the session on the were Grifols SA (BME:), which rose 3.83% or 0.36 points to trade at 9.71 at the close. Meanwhile, Unicaja Banco SA (BME:) added 2.61% or 0.03 points to end at 1.34 and Laboratorios Farmaceuticos ROVI (BME:) was up 1.69% or 1.05 points to 63.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cellnex Telecom SA (BME:), which fell 2.04% or 0.66 points to trade at 31.66 at the close. Acciona (BME:) declined 2.03% or 2.30 points to end at 111.00 and SOLARIA ENERGIA Y MEDIO AMBIENTE (BME:) was down 1.94% or 0.17 points to 8.35.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 112 to 88 and 16 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for February delivery was down 0.21% or 5.55 to $2,670.25 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January fell 1.67% or 1.19 to hit $70.10 a barrel, while the February Brent oil contract fell 1.02% or 0.76 to trade at $73.73 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.09% to 1.05, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.48% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 106.54.
