Investing.com – Poland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Warsaw, the lost 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the were Bank Millennium SA (WA:), which rose 4.52% or 0.38 points to trade at 8.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Alior Bank SA (WA:) added 2.27% or 2.22 points to end at 99.90 and Powszechna Kasa Oszczednosci Bank Polski SA (WA:) was up 1.69% or 1.04 points to 62.52 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were CCC SA (WA:), which fell 9.02% or 12.20 points to trade at 123.00 at the close. Kruk SA (WA:) declined 2.88% or 13.40 points to end at 452.00 and Asseco Poland SA (WA:) was down 2.47% or 2.00 points to 79.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 258 to 232 and 111 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.28% or 0.23 to $81.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.39% or 0.33 to hit $84.82 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.55% or 12.90 to trade at $2,331.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/PLN was up 0.30% to 4.30, while USD/PLN rose 0.52% to 4.02.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 105.33.
