Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the fell 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the were Stokvis Nord Afrique (CSE:), which rose 5.96% or 0.94 points to trade at 16.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Ste de Travaux de Realisation d’Ouvrages et de Constuction Industielle SA (CSE:) added 4.58% or 1.97 points to end at 44.97 and Involys (CSE:) was up 3.95% or 3.80 points to 99.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delta Holding S.A (CSE:), which fell 4.61% or 2.49 points to trade at 51.50 at the close. Taqa Morocco SA (CSE:) declined 4.29% or 60.00 points to end at 1,340.00 and M2M Group (CSE:) was down 3.24% or 17.90 points to 534.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 23 to 20 and 9 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.78% or 0.54 to $68.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.85% or 0.62 to hit $71.94 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.70% or 18.44 to trade at $2,626.66 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was unchanged 0.05% to 10.46, while USD/MAD rose 0.49% to 10.07.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.63% at 108.03.
