Investing.com – Brazil stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

The best performers of the session on the were Hypera SA (BVMF:), which rose 3.32% or 0.60 points to trade at 18.65 at the close. Meanwhile, Suzano Papel e Celulose SA (BVMF:) added 2.72% or 1.62 points to end at 61.24 and IRB Brasil Resseguros SA (BVMF:) was up 2.42% or 0.91 points to 38.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Automob Participações SA (BVMF:), which fell 19.05% or 0.08 points to trade at 0.34 at the close. Azul SA Pref (BVMF:) declined 9.34% or 0.34 points to end at 3.30 and Brava Energia SA (BVMF:) was down 7.67% or 1.59 points to 19.13.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the B3 Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
Shares in Automob Participações SA (BVMF:) fell to all time lows; losing 19.05% or 0.08 to 0.34. Shares in Azul SA Pref (BVMF:) fell to all time lows; down 9.34% or 0.34 to 3.30.

Gold Futures for February delivery was up 0.20% or 5.30 to $2,633.50 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February rose 1.33% or 0.92 to hit $70.16 a barrel, while the March US coffee C contract rose 0.69% or 2.27 to trade at $329.52 .
USD/BRL was unchanged 0.04% to 6.19, while EUR/BRL fell 0.09% to 6.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 108.00.
