Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the fell 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the were Hafnia Ltd (OL:), which rose 4.23% or 3.55 points to trade at 87.55 at the close. Meanwhile, Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:) added 3.65% or 5.15 points to end at 146.25 and Borr Drilling Ltd (OL:) was up 3.57% or 2.30 points to 66.65 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tomra Systems ASA (OL:), which fell 3.37% or 4.50 points to trade at 129.00 at the close. Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL:) declined 1.90% or 3.70 points to end at 191.10 and Kongsberg Gruppen ASA (OL:) was down 1.78% or 15.50 points to 855.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 148 to 128 and 37 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.15% or 0.12 to $80.71 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.02% or 0.02 to hit $84.24 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.94% or 21.95 to trade at $2,308.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.28% to 11.40, while USD/NOK rose 0.59% to 10.67.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.39% at 105.67.
