Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the rose 1.68%.
The best performers of the session on the were Era Media Sejahtera Tbk PT (JK:), which rose 35.00% or 21.00 points to trade at 81.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Sinergi Inti Andalan Prima Tbk PT (JK:) added 31.43% or 22.00 points to end at 92.00 and Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada (JK:) was up 24.89% or 590.00 points to 2,960.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sarana Mitra Luas Tbk PT (JK:), which fell 30.43% or 49.00 points to trade at 112.00 at the close. Raja Roti Cemerlang Tbk Pt (JK:) declined 25.00% or 56.00 points to end at 168.00 and Geoprima Solusi Tbk PT (JK:) was down 24.87% or 143.00 points to 432.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 344 to 304 and 195 ended unchanged.
Shares in Sinergi Inti Andalan Prima Tbk PT (JK:) rose to 52-week highs; up 31.43% or 22.00 to 92.00. Shares in Raja Roti Cemerlang Tbk Pt (JK:) fell to all time lows; losing 25.00% or 56.00 to 168.00. Shares in Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada (JK:) rose to 5-year highs; rising 24.89% or 590.00 to 2,960.00.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.60% or 0.46 to $76.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.50% or 0.40 to hit $80.32 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.63% or 16.86 to trade at $2,699.16 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.62% to 16,340.50, while AUD/IDR rose 0.39% to 10,137.21.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 109.00.
