Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the rose 1.24%.
The best performers of the session on the were Neste Oyj (HE:), which rose 3.93% or 0.50 points to trade at 13.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Kojamo (HE:) added 2.68% or 0.25 points to end at 9.40 and Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:) was up 2.41% or 0.10 points to 4.33 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cargotec Oyj (HE:), which fell 2.55% or 1.25 points to trade at 47.75 at the close. Orion Oyj B (HE:) declined 0.72% or 0.32 points to end at 43.88 and Konecranes ABP (HE:) was down 0.08% or 0.05 points to 60.70.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 110 to 55 and 24 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for March delivery was up 1.91% or 1.53 to $81.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March rose 2.33% or 1.78 to hit $78.15 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.12% or 29.91 to trade at $2,712.21 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.26% to 1.03, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.19% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 109.04.
