Meanwhile, Saudi Cable Company (TADAWUL:) added 9.97% or 11.60 points to end at 128.00 and Walaa Cooperative Insurance Company SJSC (TADAWUL:) was up 6.24% or 1.34 points to 22.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (TADAWUL:), which fell 3.49% or 15.20 points to trade at 420.00 at the close. Americana Restaurants International PLC (TADAWUL:) declined 3.14% or 0.08 points to end at 2.47 and Almajed 4 Oud Company SJSC (TADAWUL:) was down 3.03% or 5.00 points to 160.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 172 to 138 and 34 ended unchanged.
Shares in Rasan Information Technology (TADAWUL:) rose to all time highs; gaining 9.99% or 8.00 to 88.10. Shares in Saudi Cable Company (TADAWUL:) rose to 3-years highs; up 9.97% or 11.60 to 128.00.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 2.35% or 1.82 to $75.57 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.51% or 1.21 to hit $78.94 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.47% or 12.84 to trade at $2,735.86 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.62% to 3.88, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.02% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.58% at 108.57.
