Investing.com – Portugal stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Lisbon, the fell 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the were Galp Energia Nom (ELI:), which rose 2.67% or 0.53 points to trade at 20.37 at the close. Meanwhile, Nos SGPS SA (ELI:) added 0.74% or 0.03 points to end at 3.40 and Corticeira Amorim (ELI:) was up 0.55% or 0.05 points to 9.11 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mota Engil SGPS SA (ELI:), which fell 3.27% or 0.12 points to trade at 3.43 at the close. Greenvolt Energias Renovaveis SA (ELI:) declined 2.12% or 0.18 points to end at 8.32 and The Navigator Company SA (ELI:) was down 1.50% or 0.06 points to 3.81.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 16 to 9 and 4 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for September delivery was down 0.07% or 0.06 to $86.54 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August fell 0.31% or 0.26 to hit $83.12 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 7.10 to trade at $2,331.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.05% to 1.07, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.22% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.06% at 105.52.
