Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

The best performers of the session on the were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.94% or 21.40 points to trade at 236.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:) added 8.33% or 0.01 points to end at 0.13 and Musharaka REIT (TADAWUL:) was up 7.95% or 0.38 points to 5.16 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:), which fell 6.69% or 1.85 points to trade at 25.80 at the close. Anaam International Holding Group (TADAWUL:) declined 4.42% or 0.05 points to end at 1.08 and Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co (TADAWUL:) was down 3.65% or 1.35 points to 35.65.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 173 to 119 and 22 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.52% or 0.44 to $83.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.65% or 0.57 to hit $86.86 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.29% or 30.45 to trade at $2,399.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.25% to 4.07, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.51% at 104.54.
