The best performers of the session on the were Omni Bridgeway Ltd (ASX:), which rose 12.36% or 0.11 points to trade at 1.00 at the close. Meanwhile, EML Payments Ltd (ASX:) added 4.96% or 0.04 points to end at 0.74 and Kogan.com Ltd (ASX:) was up 4.93% or 0.23 points to 4.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mineral Resources Ltd (ASX:), which fell 8.20% or 3.24 points to trade at 36.27 at the close. Appen Ltd (ASX:) declined 5.91% or 0.06 points to end at 0.96 and IGO Ltd (ASX:) was down 4.25% or 0.23 points to 5.18.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Sydney Stock Exchange by 602 to 486 and 442 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.15% or 3.70 to $2,528.00 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 0.03% or 0.02 to hit $74.06 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract fell 0.22% or 0.17 to trade at $77.35 a barrel.
AUD/USD was down 0.81% to 0.67, while AUD/JPY fell 1.30% to 98.47.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 101.68.
