The best performers of the session on the were Filo Mining Corp (TSX:), which rose 8.77% or 2.58 points to trade at 32.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Secure Energy Services Inc . (TSX:) added 7.16% or 0.82 points to end at 12.28 and Tilray Inc (TSX:) was up 7.00% or 0.18 points to 2.75 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bank of Montreal (TSX:), which fell 4.17% or 4.97 points to trade at 114.33 at the close. First Quantum Minerals Ltd . (TSX:) declined 3.26% or 0.54 points to end at 16.00 and Lundin Mining Corporation (TSX:) was down 2.60% or 0.37 points to 13.87.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Toronto Stock Exchange by 509 to 444 and 95 ended unchanged.
Shares in Filo Mining Corp (TSX:) rose to all time highs; up 8.77% or 2.58 to 32.00. Shares in Secure Energy Services Inc. (TSX:) rose to 5-year highs; rising 7.16% or 0.82 to 12.28.

Gold Futures for December delivery was up 1.27% or 30.70 to $2,456.20 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 0.77% or 0.58 to hit $75.23 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract fell 0.70% or 0.55 to trade at $78.50 a barrel.
CAD/USD was unchanged 0.00% to 0.72, while CAD/EUR unchanged 0.07% to 0.67.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 104.29.
