The worst performers of the session were Celsia SA (BVC:), which fell 2.05% or 85.00 points to trade at 4,060.00 at the close. Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC:) declined 1.83% or 460.00 points to end at 24,640.00 and Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:) was down 0.89% or 80.00 points to 8,960.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.
US coffee C for September delivery was up 1.06% or 2.38 to $226.73 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 7.24% or 564.00 to hit $7,226.00 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.10% or 25.50 to trade at $2,338.70 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.05% to 4,175.63, while BRL/COP rose 1.02% to 759.01.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.11% at 105.60.
