Colorado’s governor has declared a disaster emergency in response to the first cluster of human H5N1 infections on a single United States farm. On Sunday, the State Department of Health said that the commercial egg operation was impacted by five human H5N1 outbreaks that have also affected wild birds and dairy cows in several states.
Three of the five human cases were announced Friday, and all of those have now been confirmed by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. A fourth case was also confirmed, and a fifth is presumed positive based on state testing. The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment said in a statement on Sunday that no additional test results are pending.
Colorado Reports 3 “Presumptive” Bird Flu Cases
The workers are believed to have caught the virus through direct work with infected birds. They had mild symptoms including conjunctivitis or pink eye and respiratory problems, but none of them were hospitalized, the state said Sunday. The investigation into the cases is ongoing with the support of a team sent by the CDC at the state’s request, according to a report by CNN.
The CDC said Friday its risk assessment for the general public remains low as the virus isn’t transmissible from human to human. “There are no signs of unexpected increases in flu activity otherwise in Colorado or in other states affected by H5 bird flu outbreaks in cows and poultry,” it said.
Poultry products are still safe to eat if they have been properly handled and cooked, the Colorado Health Department said. The CDC advises that everyone avoid close or long exposure to sick or dead animals, animal poop, or bedding. Experts also recommend against consuming unpasteurized or raw milk due to the potential for contamination.
Bird Flu Takes A “Dangerous” Step Toward Infecting Humans
Dr. Ed Hutchinson, from the Medical Research Council and University of Glasgow Centre for Virus Research, said that tests on ferrets found that the bovine version of the bird flu virus could not easily spread by breathing, but there were still “reasons to be concerned”.
“When they compared their cow flu isolate to bird flu they found that it had already begun to gain some of the properties that would be associated with the ability to spread effectively through respiratory infections in humans,” said Dr. Hutchinson, who was not involved in the study. –SHTFPlan
The ruling class’s agencies have also said that they already know what exact mutations would be needed to make a jump to humans that would be transmissible.
Robert Redfield Says Bird Flu Pandemic WILL HAPPEN
Robert Redfield admits that the “recipe” for human infection is already been created by the ruling class of course. This is looking like it could be the next plandemic, only with real-world damage.
“I know exactly what amino acids I have to change because in 2012, against my recommendation, the scientists that did these experiments actually published them,” he said. “So, the recipe for how to make bird flu highly [infectious] for humans is already out there.” -SHTFPlan
