Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the added 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the were Tryg A/S (CSE:), which rose 2.40% or 3.60 points to trade at 153.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:) added 2.31% or 13.00 points to end at 576.50 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:) was up 1.51% or 6.40 points to 431.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:), which fell 2.90% or 52.50 points to trade at 1,757.00 at the close. DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:) declined 1.99% or 21.50 points to end at 1,060.50 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:) was down 1.95% or 230.00 points to 11,540.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 62 and 17 ended unchanged.
Shares in Tryg A/S (CSE:) rose to 52-week highs; rising 2.40% or 3.60 to 153.60. Shares in Genmab (CSE:) fell to 3-years lows; down 2.90% or 52.50 to 1,757.00.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.11% or 0.09 to $80.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.14% or 0.12 to hit $85.45 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.24% or 5.70 to trade at $2,341.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.04% to 6.94, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 104.84.
