Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the added 1.43%.
The best performers of the session on the were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:), which rose 6.20% or 49.00 points to trade at 839.50 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:) added 4.03% or 435.00 points to end at 11,235.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:) was up 3.84% or 400.00 points to 10,830.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:), which rose 0.56% or 2.40 points to trade at 432.10 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:) added 0.76% or 5.80 points to end at 768.90 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:) was up 0.90% or 6.80 points to 761.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 90 to 37 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.87% or 0.60 to $69.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.87% or 0.63 to hit $73.44 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 5.25 to trade at $2,754.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.33% to 6.88, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.22% at 104.11.
