Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 1.96%.
The best performers of the session on the were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:), which rose 3.82% or 33.50 points to trade at 910.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Pandora A/S (CSE:) added 3.65% or 38.00 points to end at 1,079.00 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:) was up 3.51% or 5.40 points to 157.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:), which fell 1.80% or 190.00 points to trade at 10,390.00 at the close. AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:) declined 1.62% or 175.00 points to end at 10,595.00 and Genmab (CSE:) was down 0.80% or 14.50 points to 1,806.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 64 to 64 and 20 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.96% or 1.57 to $78.49 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 1.82% or 1.50 to hit $80.80 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 3.85 to trade at $2,507.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.16% to 6.82, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 102.75.
