Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the added 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the were Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:), which rose 3.43% or 0.61 points to trade at 18.38 at the close. Meanwhile, Cargotec Oyj (HE:) added 1.58% or 0.88 points to end at 56.43 and KONE Oyj (HE:) was up 1.19% or 0.60 points to 51.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordea Bank Abp (HE:), which fell 1.49% or 0.17 points to trade at 10.88 at the close. Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:) declined 1.46% or 0.11 points to end at 7.72 and Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:) was down 1.36% or 0.07 points to 4.78.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 97 to 71 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:) fell to 3-years lows; losing 1.36% or 0.07 to 4.78.
Brent oil for January delivery was up 1.39% or 1.04 to $76.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 1.57% or 1.12 to hit $72.59 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 2.50 to trade at $2,748.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.40% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.10% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.35% at 103.43.
