Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the gained 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the were Kojamo (HE:), which rose 2.52% or 0.24 points to trade at 9.57 at the close. Meanwhile, Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:) added 2.15% or 0.39 points to end at 18.26 and TietoEVRY Corp (HE:) was up 1.73% or 0.31 points to 18.25 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:), which fell 2.75% or 0.09 points to trade at 3.33 at the close. Fortum Oyj (HE:) declined 1.35% or 0.20 points to end at 14.30 and Kesko Oyj (HE:) was down 0.42% or 0.07 points to 16.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 90 to 72 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Outokumpu Oyj (HE:) fell to 3-years lows; losing 2.75% or 0.09 to 3.33.
Brent oil for September delivery was up 0.60% or 0.51 to $84.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August rose 0.70% or 0.57 to hit $81.47 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.07% or 24.65 to trade at $2,337.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.26% to 1.07, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.01% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 105.56.
