Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the added 0.47%.
The best performers of the session on the were TietoEVRY Corp (HE:), which rose 2.65% or 0.48 points to trade at 18.61 at the close. Meanwhile, Kojamo (HE:) added 1.96% or 0.20 points to end at 10.42 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:) was up 1.69% or 0.13 points to 7.92 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Neste Oyj (HE:), which fell 0.93% or 0.16 points to trade at 16.51 at the close. UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:) declined 0.69% or 0.22 points to end at 31.48 and Nokia Oyj (HE:) was down 0.65% or 0.02 points to 3.62.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 99 to 63 and 25 ended unchanged.
Shares in Neste Oyj (HE:) fell to 5-year lows; losing 0.93% or 0.16 to 16.51.
Brent oil for September delivery was up 0.39% or 0.33 to $85.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August rose 0.51% or 0.42 to hit $82.52 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.80% or 42.85 to trade at $2,422.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.37% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.15% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.61% at 104.09.
