Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the rose 0.75%.
The best performers of the session on the were Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:), which rose 1.95% or 0.08 points to trade at 4.29 at the close. Meanwhile, Cargotec Oyj (HE:) added 1.79% or 0.94 points to end at 53.56 and UPM-Kymmene Oyj (HE:) was up 1.61% or 0.40 points to 25.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kojamo (HE:), which fell 0.47% or 0.05 points to trade at 9.62 at the close. Orion Oyj B (HE:) declined 0.45% or 0.20 points to end at 44.52 and Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:) was down 0.43% or 0.03 points to 7.33.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 102 to 75 and 13 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 0.43% or 0.03 to 7.33.
Brent oil for February delivery was down 0.36% or 0.26 to $71.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January fell 0.37% or 0.25 to hit $67.75 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.62% or 16.69 to trade at $2,664.31 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.86% to 1.05, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.11% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.61% at 106.47.
