Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the added 0.81%.
The best performers of the session on the were Metso Oyj (HE:), which rose 3.55% or 0.30 points to trade at 8.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Outokumpu Oyj (HE:) added 2.02% or 0.07 points to end at 3.28 and Valmet Oyj (HE:) was up 1.98% or 0.48 points to 24.73 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Orion Oyj B (HE:), which fell 1.17% or 0.55 points to trade at 46.54 at the close. Kojamo (HE:) declined 0.77% or 0.08 points to end at 10.36 and Mandatum Oyj (HE:) was down 0.40% or 0.02 points to 4.24.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 108 to 58 and 22 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for November delivery was up 1.33% or 0.97 to $73.72 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 1.62% or 1.12 to hit $70.14 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.66% or 17.20 to trade at $2,591.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.13% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.28% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 100.62.
