Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the gained 1.13%.
The best performers of the session on the were Konecranes ABP (HE:), which rose 13.99% or 7.35 points to trade at 59.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Neste Oyj (HE:) added 4.94% or 0.90 points to end at 19.01 and Cargotec Oyj (HE:) was up 4.04% or 1.74 points to 44.82 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:), which fell 1.42% or 0.17 points to trade at 11.45 at the close. Valmet Oyj (HE:) declined 1.14% or 0.30 points to end at 26.07 and Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:) was down 0.71% or 0.05 points to 6.99.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 104 to 63 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Konecranes ABP (HE:) rose to all time highs; gaining 13.99% or 7.35 to 59.90.
Brent oil for September delivery was down 1.74% or 1.43 to $80.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 1.66% or 1.30 to hit $76.98 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.32% or 31.15 to trade at $2,384.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.13% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.02% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 104.07.
