Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the added 1.14%.
The best performers of the session on the were Nokia Oyj (HE:), which rose 8.15% or 0.32 points to trade at 4.27 at the close. Meanwhile, Metso Oyj (HE:) added 3.33% or 0.30 points to end at 9.44 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE:) was up 1.86% or 0.06 points to 3.34 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Elisa Oyj (HE:), which fell 4.71% or 2.30 points to trade at 46.56 at the close. Neste Oyj (HE:) declined 4.17% or 0.67 points to end at 15.29 and Orion Oyj B (HE:) was down 2.04% or 0.99 points to 47.53.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 88 to 76 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nokia Oyj (HE:) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 8.15% or 0.32 to 4.27. Shares in Neste Oyj (HE:) fell to 5-year lows; down 4.17% or 0.67 to 15.29.
Brent oil for December delivery was down 2.03% or 1.51 to $72.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 2.12% or 1.50 to hit $69.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.83% or 22.60 to trade at $2,730.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.21% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.15% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 103.42.
