Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the fell 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the were Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:), which rose 1.30% or 0.22 points to trade at 17.20 at the close. Meanwhile, KONE Oyj (HE:) added 0.95% or 0.46 points to end at 49.06 and Konecranes ABP (HE:) was up 0.79% or 0.50 points to 63.85 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:), which fell 2.37% or 0.10 points to trade at 4.20 at the close. Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:) declined 1.04% or 0.10 points to end at 9.16 and Kesko Oyj (HE:) was down 0.97% or 0.19 points to 18.82.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 90 to 74 and 25 ended unchanged.
Shares in Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:) fell to 5-year lows; losing 2.37% or 0.10 to 4.20. Shares in Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:) fell to 3-years lows; falling 1.04% or 0.10 to 9.16.
Brent oil for February delivery was down 0.36% or 0.26 to $72.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January rose 0.13% or 0.09 to hit $68.81 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.81% or 21.49 to trade at $2,686.29 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.06% to 1.05, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.16% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 106.08.
