Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the fell 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the were Neste Oyj (HE:), which rose 2.46% or 0.29 points to trade at 12.08 at the close. Meanwhile, Mandatum Oyj (HE:) added 0.83% or 0.04 points to end at 4.48 and Sampo Oyj A (HE:) was up 0.64% or 0.25 points to 39.38 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cargotec Oyj (HE:), which fell 1.39% or 0.72 points to trade at 51.08 at the close. Konecranes ABP (HE:) declined 1.37% or 0.85 points to end at 61.05 and Metso Oyj (HE:) was down 0.99% or 0.09 points to 9.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 104 to 74 and 13 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for March delivery was up 0.66% or 0.49 to $74.28 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February rose 0.99% or 0.70 to hit $71.30 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.75% or 19.69 to trade at $2,612.21 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.38% to 1.04, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.11% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 108.07.
