Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the declined 0.16% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the were Neste Oyj (HE:), which rose 1.90% or 0.26 points to trade at 13.92 at the close. Meanwhile, Nokia Oyj (HE:) added 1.49% or 0.06 points to end at 4.03 and Fortum Oyj (HE:) was up 1.16% or 0.16 points to 14.01 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cargotec Oyj (HE:), which fell 1.55% or 0.83 points to trade at 52.86 at the close. Qt Group Oyj (HE:) declined 1.34% or 0.90 points to end at 66.50 and Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:) was down 1.18% or 0.40 points to 33.56.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 96 to 66 and 27 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for January delivery was down 0.14% or 0.10 to $73.21 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January fell 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $69.19 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.88% or 23.05 to trade at $2,654.05 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.71% to 1.05, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.36% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.59% at 106.77.
