Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the declined 0.53% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the were Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:), which rose 7.23% or 2.48 points to trade at 36.78 at the close. Meanwhile, TietoEVRY Corp (HE:) added 6.53% or 1.16 points to end at 18.92 and Elisa Oyj (HE:) was up 1.75% or 0.76 points to 44.08 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:), which fell 6.22% or 0.37 points to trade at 5.50 at the close. Metso Oyj (HE:) declined 5.76% or 0.54 points to end at 8.87 and Neste Oyj (HE:) was down 5.41% or 0.83 points to 14.42.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 88 to 86 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:) fell to 3-years lows; falling 6.22% or 0.37 to 5.50. Shares in Neste Oyj (HE:) fell to 5-year lows; losing 5.41% or 0.83 to 14.42.
Brent oil for December delivery was down 0.99% or 0.74 to $74.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 1.09% or 0.77 to hit $70.00 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.54% or 14.70 to trade at $2,744.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.21% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.11% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 104.05.
