Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the declined 0.56%.
The best performers of the session on the were Neste Oyj (HE:), which rose 1.58% or 0.26 points to trade at 16.76 at the close. Meanwhile, Qt Group Oyj (HE:) added 0.97% or 0.85 points to end at 88.65 and Nordea Bank Abp (HE:) was up 0.29% or 0.03 points to 10.43 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Valmet Oyj (HE:), which fell 2.82% or 0.79 points to trade at 27.24 at the close. Cargotec Oyj (HE:) declined 2.70% or 1.41 points to end at 50.86 and Konecranes ABP (HE:) was down 2.67% or 1.80 points to 65.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 98 to 71 and 20 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for December delivery was up 3.02% or 2.31 to $78.89 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 2.98% or 2.18 to hit $75.42 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.57% or 15.00 to trade at $2,641.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.12% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.02% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 102.72.
