Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the lost 0.77%.
The best performers of the session on the were Kojamo (HE:), which rose 1.22% or 0.12 points to trade at 9.53 at the close. Meanwhile, Neste Oyj (HE:) added 0.91% or 0.12 points to end at 13.36 and Wartsila Oyj Abp (HE:) was up 0.61% or 0.11 points to 17.45 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sampo Oyj A (HE:), which fell 1.48% or 0.60 points to trade at 39.83 at the close. Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:) declined 1.36% or 0.48 points to end at 34.88 and Valmet Oyj (HE:) was down 1.27% or 0.30 points to 23.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 123 to 48 and 17 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for February delivery was up 0.73% or 0.53 to $72.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January rose 0.92% or 0.63 to hit $69.00 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.20% or 32.14 to trade at $2,717.94 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.37% to 1.05, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.41% to 0.82.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 106.19.
