Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the fell 1.20% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the were Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:), which rose 2.46% or 0.19 points to trade at 7.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Outokumpu Oyj (HE:) added 1.69% or 0.06 points to end at 3.31 and Neste Oyj (HE:) was up 1.32% or 0.23 points to 17.27 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:), which fell 6.26% or 0.80 points to trade at 11.90 at the close. Metso Oyj (HE:) declined 4.94% or 0.48 points to end at 9.16 and Qt Group Oyj (HE:) was down 3.55% or 2.95 points to 80.05.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 123 to 43 and 21 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for September delivery was up 1.05% or 0.85 to $81.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September rose 1.07% or 0.82 to hit $77.78 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.66% or 15.90 to trade at $2,423.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.02% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.15% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 103.95.
