Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the fell 2.25% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the were Kojamo (HE:), which fell 0.36% or 0.04 points to trade at 9.62 at the close. Meanwhile, Cargotec Oyj (HE:) fell 0.68% or 0.41 points to end at 59.70 and TietoEVRY Corp (HE:) was down 0.75% or 0.13 points to 17.16 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Valmet Oyj (HE:), which fell 4.32% or 1.04 points to trade at 23.01 at the close. Metso Oyj (HE:) declined 4.25% or 0.37 points to end at 8.43 and Orion Oyj B (HE:) was down 4.20% or 1.93 points to 44.03.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 143 to 34 and 12 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for January delivery was up 0.47% or 0.34 to $72.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.51% or 0.35 to hit $68.39 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.53% or 14.00 to trade at $2,603.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.48% to 1.06, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.56% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.53% at 106.02.
