Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the declined 2.42% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:), which fell 0.47% or 0.02 points to trade at 3.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank Abp (HE:) fell 0.97% or 0.10 points to end at 10.16 and Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:) was down 1.15% or 0.07 points to 6.04 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fortum Oyj (HE:), which fell 4.75% or 0.68 points to trade at 13.63 at the close. Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:) declined 4.25% or 0.35 points to end at 7.79 and Konecranes ABP (HE:) was down 3.65% or 2.20 points to 58.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 172 to 13 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in Outokumpu Oyj (HE:) fell to 3-years lows; losing 0.47% or 0.02 to 3.20. Shares in Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:) fell to 3-years lows; losing 1.15% or 0.07 to 6.04.
Brent oil for October delivery was down 0.47% or 0.36 to $76.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 0.60% or 0.44 to hit $73.08 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.08% or 26.70 to trade at $2,443.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.44% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP rose 0.64% to 0.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.48% at 102.50.
