Investing.com – France stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Paris, the added 0.46%, while the index gained 0.36%.
The best performers of the session on the were Kering SA (EPA:), which rose 4.57% or 10.80 points to trade at 247.35 at the close. Meanwhile, LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton SE (EPA:) added 2.70% or 17.90 points to end at 679.80 and Carrefour SA (EPA:) was up 1.95% or 0.29 points to 15.39 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Capgemini SE (EPA:), which fell 2.72% or 5.15 points to trade at 183.85 at the close. Teleperformance SE (EPA:) declined 2.71% or 2.62 points to end at 94.10 and Safran SA (EPA:) was down 2.16% or 4.50 points to 203.50.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were Voltalia SA (EPA:) which rose 4.70% to 9.14, Kering SA (EPA:) which was up 4.57% to settle at 247.35 and Rubis SCA (EPA:) which gained 3.46% to close at 25.72.
The worst performers were Valeo SA (EPA:) which was down 4.88% to 10.14 in late trade, Ubisoft Entertainment (EPA:) which lost 3.87% to settle at 13.65 and SCOR SE (EPA:) which was down 3.81% to 19.70 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 261 to 231 and 95 ended unchanged.
The , which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was unchanged 0.00% to 18.96 a new 52-week high.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.12% or 3.30 to $2,664.50 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 3.37% or 2.51 to hit $76.89 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract rose 3.19% or 2.49 to trade at $80.54 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.01% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.37% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 102.23.
