The best performers of the session on the were Edenred SA (EPA:), which rose 2.10% or 0.70 points to trade at 33.96 at the close. Meanwhile, EssilorLuxottica SA (EPA:) added 1.98% or 4.30 points to end at 221.90 and Airbus Group SE (EPA:) was up 1.73% or 2.40 points to 141.24 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Eurofins Scientific SE (EPA:), which fell 11.53% or 6.20 points to trade at 47.56 at the close. Compagnie de Saint Gobain SA (EPA:) declined 1.52% or 1.28 points to end at 82.98 and Sanofi SA (EPA:) was down 1.49% or 1.49 points to 98.34.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were Worldline SA (EPA:) which rose 6.05% to 6.49, Forvia (EPA:) which was up 5.47% to settle at 8.84 and Gaztransport et Technigaz SA (EPA:) which gained 4.08% to close at 132.60.
The worst performers were Eurofins Scientific SE (EPA:) which was down 11.53% to 47.56 in late trade, Voltalia SA (EPA:) which lost 2.77% to settle at 8.78 and Nexans SA (EPA:) which was down 2.62% to 133.70 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 255 to 233 and 96 ended unchanged.
Shares in EssilorLuxottica SA (EPA:) rose to all time highs; rising 1.98% or 4.30 to 221.90.
The , which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was unchanged 0.00% to 18.96 a new 52-week high.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.53% or 14.65 to $2,753.55 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 2.83% or 1.98 to hit $72.02 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract rose 2.64% or 1.96 to trade at $76.25 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.08% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.02% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 103.89.
