Investing.com – France stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Paris, the declined 0.03%, while the index lost 0.05%.
The best performers of the session on the were Airbus Group SE (EPA:), which rose 2.34% or 3.66 points to trade at 159.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Societe Generale SA (EPA:) added 1.79% or 0.48 points to end at 27.31 and Pernod Ricard SA (EPA:) was up 1.74% or 1.95 points to 113.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Edenred SA (EPA:), which fell 3.28% or 1.04 points to trade at 30.64 at the close. Teleperformance SE (EPA:) declined 1.48% or 1.30 points to end at 86.34 and Capgemini SE (EPA:) was down 1.47% or 2.35 points to 157.00.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were Atos SE (EPA:) which unchanged 52.94% to 0.00, Technip Energies BV (EPA:) which was up 3.86% to settle at 25.30 and Air France KLM SA (EPA:) which gained 3.73% to close at 7.95.
The worst performers were Sopra Steria Group SA (EPA:) which was down 9.89% to 166.70 in late trade, Nexans SA (EPA:) which lost 3.70% to settle at 106.80 and Edenred SA (EPA:) which was down 3.28% to 30.64 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 278 to 228 and 73 ended unchanged.
The , which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was unchanged 0.00% to 18.96 a new 52-week high.
Gold Futures for February delivery was down 1.79% or 49.29 to $2,707.41 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January fell 0.33% or 0.23 to hit $70.06 a barrel, while the February Brent oil contract fell 0.30% or 0.22 to trade at $73.30 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.19% to 1.05, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.44% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 106.26.
