Investing.com – France stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Paris, the lost 1.03%, while the index fell 0.73%.
The best performers of the session on the were Kering SA (EPA:), which rose 4.67% or 15.25 points to trade at 341.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield SE (EPA:) added 1.16% or 0.84 points to end at 73.54 and Teleperformance SE (EPA:) was up 0.70% or 0.70 points to 101.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Edenred SA (EPA:), which fell 4.11% or 1.73 points to trade at 40.32 at the close. Stellantis NV (EPA:) declined 4.01% or 0.78 points to end at 18.56 and L’Oreal SA (EPA:) was down 3.37% or 14.75 points to 422.85.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were Kering SA (EPA:) which rose 4.67% to 341.75, Atos SE (EPA:) which was up 3.76% to settle at 1.16 and Solvay SA (EBR:) which gained 3.23% to close at 32.90.
The worst performers were Voltalia SA (EPA:) which was down 9.42% to 8.75 in late trade, Solutions 30 SE (EPA:) which lost 5.17% to settle at 1.49 and JC Decaux SA (EPA:) which was down 4.96% to 18.60 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 327 to 160 and 116 ended unchanged.
Shares in Solutions 30 SE (EPA:) fell to 5-year lows; falling 5.17% or 0.08 to 1.49.
The , which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was unchanged 0.00% to 18.96 a new 52-week high.
Gold Futures for August delivery was up 1.10% or 25.40 to $2,338.60 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August rose 0.57% or 0.46 to hit $81.36 a barrel, while the September Brent oil contract rose 0.46% or 0.39 to trade at $84.86 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.28% to 1.07, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.01% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 105.54.
