Investing.com – France stocks were mixed after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Paris, the lost 0.56%, while the index added 1.35%.
The best performers of the session on the were Danone SA (EPA:), which rose 1.99% or 1.14 points to trade at 58.54 at the close. Meanwhile, Engie SA (EPA:) added 1.44% or 0.20 points to end at 13.73 and Kering SA (EPA:) was up 1.25% or 3.95 points to 320.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Compagnie de Saint Gobain SA (EPA:), which fell 3.61% or 2.74 points to trade at 73.12 at the close. Renault SA (EPA:) declined 2.99% or 1.50 points to end at 48.66 and Teleperformance SE (EPA:) was down 1.95% or 2.00 points to 100.70.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were Danone SA (EPA:) which rose 1.99% to 58.54, BIC (EPA:) which was up 1.45% to settle at 55.90 and Engie SA (EPA:) which gained 1.44% to close at 13.73.
The worst performers were Atos SE (EPA:) which was down 32.56% to 1.17 in late trade, Ubisoft Entertainment (EPA:) which lost 4.71% to settle at 20.22 and Fnac Darty SA (EPA:) which was down 4.54% to 30.50 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 338 to 159 and 101 ended unchanged.
The , which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was unchanged 0.00% to 18.96 a new 52-week high.
Gold Futures for August delivery was down 1.17% or 27.60 to $2,341.40 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August fell 0.25% or 0.20 to hit $81.09 a barrel, while the August Brent oil contract fell 0.16% or 0.14 to trade at $85.57 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.07% to 1.07, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.07% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.22% at 105.46.
