Investing.com – France stocks were mixed after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Paris, the declined 0.98%, while the index added 1.29%.
The best performers of the session on the were Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield SE (EPA:), which rose 1.77% or 1.20 points to trade at 68.84 at the close. Meanwhile, STMicroelectronics NV (EPA:) added 1.11% or 0.34 points to end at 31.06 and Thales (EPA:) was up 0.56% or 0.80 points to 144.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Stellantis NV (EPA:), which fell 3.31% or 0.54 points to trade at 15.64 at the close. Accor SA (EPA:) declined 2.40% or 0.87 points to end at 35.31 and Hermes International SCA (EPA:) was down 2.36% or 49.00 points to 2,026.00.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were Mercialys SA (EPA:) which rose 2.57% to 11.59, Dassault Aviation SA (EPA:) which was up 2.04% to settle at 185.10 and JC Decaux SA (EPA:) which gained 2.00% to close at 19.34.
The worst performers were Emeis SA (EPA:) which was down 18.89% to 10.99 in late trade, Atos SE (EPA:) which lost 8.30% to settle at 0.85 and Fnac Darty SA (EPA:) which was down 7.63% to 27.85 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 274 to 204 and 108 ended unchanged.
Shares in Stellantis NV (EPA:) fell to 52-week lows; falling 3.31% or 0.54 to 15.64.
The , which measures the implied volatility of CAC 40 options, was unchanged 0.00% to 18.96 a new 52-week high.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.25% or 6.10 to $2,421.80 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 1.65% or 1.27 to hit $75.89 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract fell 1.51% or 1.21 to trade at $79.07 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.38% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.27% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 104.38.
