Investing.com – France stocks were mixed after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Paris, the rose 0.10%, while the index declined 1.53%.
The best performers of the session on the were Stellantis NV (EPA:), which rose 2.19% or 0.30 points to trade at 13.78 at the close. Meanwhile, Schneider Electric SE (EPA:) added 1.77% or 4.15 points to end at 238.35 and Air Liquide SA (EPA:) was up 1.72% or 2.88 points to 170.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Edenred SA (EPA:), which fell 5.60% or 1.98 points to trade at 33.36 at the close. Credit Agricole SA (EPA:) declined 4.46% or 0.65 points to end at 13.82 and BNP Paribas SA (EPA:) was down 3.66% or 2.37 points to 62.41.
The top performers on the SBF 120 were Valneva (EPA:) which rose 3.24% to 2.62, Carmila SA (EPA:) which was up 2.64% to settle at 17.86 and Biomerieux SA (EPA:) which gained 2.35% to close at 108.90.
The worst performers were Edenred SA (EPA:) which was down 5.60% to 33.36 in late trade, Air France KLM SA (EPA:) which lost 4.85% to settle at 8.40 and Credit Agricole SA (EPA:) which was down 4.46% to 13.82 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Paris Stock Exchange by 250 to 232 and 118 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.28% or 7.30 to $2,653.50 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 1.27% or 0.90 to hit $70.10 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 1.06% or 0.78 to trade at $72.91 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.34% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.56% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.14% at 100.57.
