Investing.com – Germany stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Frankfurt, the rose 0.52%, while the index gained 1.53%, and the index gained 0.77%.
The best performers of the session on the were Zalando SE (ETR:), which rose 7.33% or 1.76 points to trade at 25.76 at the close. Meanwhile, Siemens Energy AG (ETR:) added 4.26% or 1.24 points to end at 30.35 and Daimler Truck Holding AG (ETR:) was up 3.51% or 1.09 points to 32.15 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Rheinmetall AG (ETR:), which fell 6.75% or 35.00 points to trade at 483.20 at the close. MTU Aero Engines NA O.N. (ETR:) declined 2.42% or 6.70 points to end at 269.70 and Hannover Rueck SE (ETR:) was down 1.64% or 4.20 points to 252.00.
The top performers on the MDAX were Delivery Hero AG (ETR:) which rose 7.76% to 29.99, HelloFresh SE (ETR:) which was up 5.34% to settle at 8.64 and Tui AG NA (ETR:) which gained 4.79% to close at 6.30.
The worst performers were Hensoldt Ag (ETR:) which was down 7.27% to 28.08 in late trade, Tag Immobilien AG (ETR:) which lost 1.77% to settle at 16.06 and Talanx AG NA O.N. (ETR:) which was down 1.57% to 75.35 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were SUSS MicroTec SE (ETR:) which rose 7.08% to 57.50, SMA Solar Technology AG (ETR:) which was up 6.09% to settle at 18.98 and Carl Zeiss Meditec AG (ETR:) which gained 4.47% to close at 59.55.
The worst performers were Hensoldt Ag (ETR:) which was down 7.27% to 28.08 in late trade, Deutsche Telekom AG Na (ETR:) which lost 0.85% to settle at 26.68 and Kontron AG (ETR:) which was down 0.81% to 16.00 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 410 to 189 and 32 ended unchanged.
Shares in Siemens Energy AG (ETR:) rose to 3-years highs; up 4.26% or 1.24 to 30.35.
The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was up 4.40% to 15.27.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.70% or 18.30 to $2,590.60 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 1.67% or 1.15 to hit $70.17 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract rose 1.37% or 1.00 to trade at $73.75 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.11% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.30% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 100.60.
