Investing.com – Germany stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Frankfurt, the rose 0.56%, while the index climbed 0.97%, and the index gained 0.26%.
The best performers of the session on the were Sartorius AG VZO O.N. (ETR:), which rose 3.69% or 9.00 points to trade at 252.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Airbus Group SE (ETR:) added 2.55% or 3.32 points to end at 133.56 and Deutsche Bank AG NA O.N. (ETR:) was up 2.05% or 0.29 points to 14.61 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Siemens Healthineers AG (ETR:), which fell 1.34% or 0.72 points to trade at 53.20 at the close. Henkel & Co KGaA AG Pref (ETR:) declined 1.26% or 1.00 points to end at 78.58 and Heidelbergcement AG O.N. (ETR:) was down 0.87% or 0.86 points to 97.80.
The top performers on the MDAX were Redcare Pharmacy NV (ETR:) which rose 9.33% to 145.30, Fuchs Petrolub AG VZO Pref (ETR:) which was up 6.50% to settle at 39.96 and Delivery Hero AG (ETR:) which gained 4.18% to close at 20.19.
The worst performers were Fresenius Medical Care KGAA ST (ETR:) which was down 4.51% to 35.75 in late trade, Lanxess AG (ETR:) which lost 3.00% to settle at 24.26 and Wacker Chemie O.N. (ETR:) which was down 1.64% to 92.16 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Cancom SE O.N. (ETR:) which rose 3.79% to 32.90, Sartorius AG VZO O.N. (ETR:) which was up 3.69% to settle at 252.70 and Nagarro SE (ETR:) which gained 2.69% to close at 80.20.
The worst performers were Suess Microtec NA O.N. (ETR:) which was down 1.98% to 59.50 in late trade, Siemens Healthineers AG (ETR:) which lost 1.34% to settle at 53.20 and Evotec AG O.N. (ETR:) which was down 1.15% to 8.60 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 364 to 223 and 29 ended unchanged.
The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was up 4.32% to 15.71.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.22% or 5.30 to $2,430.80 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 1.49% or 1.13 to hit $74.68 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract fell 1.33% or 1.05 to trade at $78.00 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.09% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.13% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.07% at 104.39.
