Investing.com – Germany stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Frankfurt, the rose 0.58%, while the index gained 0.64%, and the index gained 0.22%.
The best performers of the session on the were Zalando SE (ETR:), which rose 3.02% or 0.70 points to trade at 23.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Dr Ing hc F Porsche AG Preferred (ETR:) added 1.71% or 1.16 points to end at 68.92 and Brenntag AG (ETR:) was up 1.55% or 0.98 points to 64.22 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Rheinmetall AG (ETR:), which fell 1.96% or 11.00 points to trade at 551.20 at the close. Covestro AG (ETR:) declined 0.55% or 0.30 points to end at 54.30 and Henkel & Co KGaA AG Pref (ETR:) was down 0.33% or 0.26 points to 77.90.
The top performers on the MDAX were Aroundtown Property Holdings PLC (ETR:) which rose 4.21% to 2.13, Thyssenkrupp AG O.N. (ETR:) which was up 3.64% to settle at 3.24 and Lanxess AG (ETR:) which gained 2.43% to close at 24.45.
The worst performers were Hensoldt Ag (ETR:) which was down 4.64% to 34.56 in late trade, K+S AG (ETR:) which lost 2.40% to settle at 10.98 and Redcare Pharmacy NV (ETR:) which was down 2.02% to 136.00 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Atoss Software AG (ETR:) which rose 3.97% to 141.40, 11 AG (ETR:) which was up 2.45% to settle at 13.36 and Carl Zeiss Meditec AG (ETR:) which gained 1.83% to close at 64.05.
The worst performers were PNE Wind AG (ETR:) which was down 6.00% to 13.16 in late trade, Hensoldt Ag (ETR:) which lost 4.64% to settle at 34.56 and Suess Microtec NA O.N. (ETR:) which was down 1.89% to 57.20 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 408 to 219 and 34 ended unchanged.
Shares in K+S AG (ETR:) fell to 3-years lows; down 2.40% or 0.27 to 10.98. Shares in Atoss Software AG (ETR:) rose to 52-week highs; rising 3.97% or 5.40 to 141.40.
The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was down 3.93% to 13.98.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.20% or 4.95 to $2,542.75 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 1.92% or 1.45 to hit $74.09 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract fell 1.90% or 1.51 to trade at $78.17 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.39% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.05% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.49% at 101.81.
