Investing.com – Germany stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Frankfurt, the added 0.77% to hit a new 1-month high, while the index climbed 0.89%, and the index gained 0.22%.
The best performers of the session on the were Siemens Energy AG (ETR:), which rose 2.71% or 0.68 points to trade at 25.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Heidelberg Materials AG (ETR:) added 1.84% or 1.70 points to end at 94.28 and Vonovia SE (ETR:) was up 1.83% or 0.55 points to 30.54 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Dr Ing hc F Porsche AG Preferred (ETR:), which fell 0.74% or 0.52 points to trade at 69.82 at the close. SAP SE (ETR:) declined 0.47% or 0.92 points to end at 195.62 and Qiagen NV (ETR:) was down 0.33% or 0.14 points to 42.19.
The top performers on the MDAX were Delivery Hero AG (ETR:) which rose 7.84% to 24.77, Evotec AG O.N. (ETR:) which was up 6.73% to settle at 5.86 and Hugo Boss AG NA O.N. (ETR:) which gained 5.15% to close at 40.60.
The worst performers were Redcare Pharmacy NV (ETR:) which was down 5.04% to 122.50 in late trade, HelloFresh SE (ETR:) which lost 3.94% to settle at 7.36 and CTS Eventim AG (ETR:) which was down 3.50% to 84.20 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Evotec AG O.N. (ETR:) which rose 6.73% to 5.86, Energiekontor AG (ETR:) which was up 3.01% to settle at 58.20 and 11 AG (ETR:) which gained 2.09% to close at 13.70.
The worst performers were Suess Microtec NA O.N. (ETR:) which was down 3.24% to 53.80 in late trade, Nemetschek AG O.N. (ETR:) which lost 1.09% to settle at 90.50 and Elmos Semiconductor AG (ETR:) which was down 0.89% to 77.70 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 410 to 191 and 30 ended unchanged.
Shares in Vonovia SE (ETR:) rose to 52-week highs; up 1.83% or 0.55 to 30.54.
The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was up 4.78% to 14.92.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 1.04% or 26.20 to $2,542.90 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 2.42% or 1.77 to hit $74.78 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract rose 2.24% or 1.73 to trade at $78.95 a barrel.
EUR/USD was up 0.57% to 1.12, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.20% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.65% at 100.74.
