The worst performers of the session were Sartorius AG VZO O.N. (ETR:), which fell 2.90% or 7.20 points to trade at 241.10 at the close. Vonovia SE (ETR:) declined 1.32% or 0.39 points to end at 29.07 and Beiersdorf AG O.N. (ETR:) was down 1.11% or 1.40 points to 124.55.
The top performers on the MDAX were HelloFresh SE (ETR:) which rose 7.10% to 5.40, Jenoptik AG (ETR:) which was up 3.42% to settle at 28.42 and Kion Group AG (ETR:) which gained 2.09% to close at 33.70.
The worst performers were Carl Zeiss Meditec AG (ETR:) which was down 5.33% to 60.35 in late trade, Hugo Boss AG NA O.N. (ETR:) which lost 3.50% to settle at 36.40 and Delivery Hero AG (ETR:) which was down 3.07% to 20.86 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Jenoptik AG (ETR:) which rose 3.42% to 28.42, Freenet AG NA (ETR:) which was up 1.46% to settle at 25.02 and Eckert & Ziegler AG O.N. (ETR:) which gained 1.34% to close at 42.42.
The worst performers were Carl Zeiss Meditec AG (ETR:) which was down 5.33% to 60.35 in late trade, Sartorius AG VZO O.N. (ETR:) which lost 2.90% to settle at 241.10 and Nordex SE O.N. (ETR:) which was down 2.81% to 13.14 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 319 to 274 and 44 ended unchanged.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 103.00.
