Investing.com – Germany stocks were mixed after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher while losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Frankfurt, the lost 0.20%, while the index lost 0.13%, and the index gained 0.48%.
The best performers of the session on the were Infineon Technologies AG NA O.N. (ETR:), which rose 2.27% or 0.68 points to trade at 30.35 at the close. Meanwhile, SAP SE (ETR:) added 1.58% or 3.40 points to end at 218.65 and E.ON SE (ETR:) was up 1.13% or 0.15 points to 12.93 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Zalando SE (ETR:), which fell 2.64% or 0.78 points to trade at 28.73 at the close. Merck KGaA (ETR:) declined 1.98% or 3.20 points to end at 158.70 and Deutsche Boerse AG (ETR:) was down 1.98% or 4.30 points to 212.80.
The top performers on the MDAX were Delivery Hero AG (ETR:) which rose 4.58% to 40.89, Tui AG NA (ETR:) which was up 2.57% to settle at 7.73 and TeamViewer AG (ETR:) which gained 1.49% to close at 13.58.
The worst performers were Hensoldt Ag (ETR:) which was down 3.43% to 30.98 in late trade, Stabilus (ETR:) which lost 2.49% to settle at 35.30 and Hugo Boss AG NA O.N. (ETR:) which was down 2.23% to 41.64 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Evotec AG O.N. (ETR:) which rose 8.92% to 6.47, Energiekontor AG (ETR:) which was up 3.79% to settle at 52.00 and Infineon Technologies AG NA O.N. (ETR:) which gained 2.27% to close at 30.35.
The worst performers were Hensoldt Ag (ETR:) which was down 3.43% to 30.98 in late trade, Eckert & Ziegler AG O.N. (ETR:) which lost 1.88% to settle at 43.90 and Siltronic AG (ETR:) which was down 1.59% to 58.80 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 420 to 200 and 31 ended unchanged.
Shares in SAP SE (ETR:) rose to all time highs; rising 1.58% or 3.40 to 218.65. Shares in Delivery Hero AG (ETR:) rose to 52-week highs; rising 4.58% or 1.79 to 40.89. Shares in Stabilus (ETR:) fell to 3-years lows; falling 2.49% or 0.90 to 35.30. Shares in Siltronic AG (ETR:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 1.59% or 0.95 to 58.80.
The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was down 1.81% to 17.24.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.95% or 26.30 to $2,733.50 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 1.52% or 1.09 to hit $70.65 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 1.49% or 1.13 to trade at $74.91 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.19% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.14% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.37% at 104.29.
