Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the lost 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the were Crete Plastics SA (AT:), which rose 4.05% or 0.60 points to trade at 15.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Titan Cement International SA (AT:) added 2.37% or 0.75 points to end at 32.35 and Hellenic Exchanges Athens Stock Exchange SA (AT:) was up 1.70% or 0.08 points to 4.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Piraeus Port (AT:), which fell 5.64% or 1.55 points to trade at 25.95 at the close. National Bank of Greece SA (AT:) declined 3.96% or 0.33 points to end at 8.10 and Quality and Reliability SA (AT:) was down 2.84% or 0.03 points to 1.16.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 57 to 56 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in Titan Cement International SA (AT:) rose to all time highs; up 2.37% or 0.75 to 32.35.
Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.06% or 1.40 to $2,426.50 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 1.62% or 1.25 to hit $75.91 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract fell 1.54% or 1.24 to trade at $79.04 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.41% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.26% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 104.43.
